“There's so much more to a book than just the reading.”

—Maurice Sendak

(Or to a magazine article, blog post, advertisement, or that notebook you had in fourth grade that you covered with stickers).

Like every artist you've ever met, I loved drawing as a little kid. Nowadays, I am studying both Graphic Design and Illustration at Missouri State University. My first children's book, The All Saint's Day Party by Jerry Windley-Daoust, is set to be published in spring 2017.

Most of my recent illustration work focuses on fairytales and is made with pen, ink, watercolor, and Photoshop. However, I love experimenting with other subjects and other media.

I've made a lot more work than shows up in my professional portfolio and if you'd like to see some of that, you can check out my blog or instagram.
